Technology is often used as a tool for transmission of content, which undermines its true potential of enabling learners as knoweldge constructors and not merely consumers of digital content and resources. This course aims to enable teachers to have a deeper understanding of technology enabled active pedagogies, 21st century skills, inquiry based learning, and the role of technology for deep, connected and authentic learning. The course uses examples and activities within the upper primary and secondary school education contexts.

She has initiated and led the initiative called Integrated approach to Technology in Education (ITE), at Tata Trusts. She also leads the Teacher Professional Development cell of the centre. Over the years, she has gathered first-hand experience from the rural middle and secondary schools and madrasas culminating her research work in the area of integrating ICT for enabling constructivist approaches in teaching and learning, and models of continuous professional development.
