The Cyber Security - Foundation (CADS-F) program is a fully online, 45-hour professional readiness course hosted via SWAYAM Plus. Spanning 15 comprehensive technical modules, the program is specifically tailored for officers and auditors within the IAAD / CAG network, as well as entry-level IT and cybersecurity audit practitioners. The primary objective of the curriculum is to bridge the gap between foundational technical awareness and active professional readiness. By exploring real-world attack vectors and utilizing continuous, scenario-driven case study evaluations (combining 30 hours of theoretical learning with 15 hours of individual research case studies), the course cultivates a proactive, risk-focused defensive mindset. It establishes the baseline technical and oversight principles required to evaluate core corporate infrastructure, networks, applications, and cloud environments while aligning them to Indian regulatory laws (such as the DPDPA 2023) and strategic governance frameworks. Ultimately, this foundational tower serves as a mandatory checklist and stepping stone, positioning learners to seamlessly transition into the subsequent Proficient and Expert level auditing curriculums.
